Sure, there have been plenty of ups and downs since 1988, including two market crashes (2000-2003 and 2007-2009). But market crashes notwithstanding, the share increased from $3000 in January 1988 to $189000 in January 2016, and Waren Buffett is known as a conservative investor and CEO, not a day trader. Who needs a better performance?
